Week seven. She hit the weave entry clean, no stutter, no pop-out — just threaded through like she'd been doing it her whole life. I forgot to breathe. That's when I knew.

Philosophy

The dog already knows how to run.
We teach you how to get out of the way.

Agility is a conversation between two bodies moving through space. At Weave, we train handlers first — your footwork, your timing, your breathing — because when you move well, your dog reads you clearly. We work on rubber matting in a timber-framed barn that smells like wood shavings and effort. No shortcuts, no punishment, no dog left behind because someone decided they were "the wrong kind."

Reactive Dog

"Couldn't do agility" is not a diagnosis.

Designed specifically for dogs with threshold sensitivities. We work at distance, with visual barriers, at times when the barn is quiet. Movement is a powerful tool for focus — we use it.

"We don't film the handlers. We film the dogs. Because the dog's expression tells you everything you need to know about whether the training is working."

"They said Birch was "too reactive for group classes." That was two nationals ago."
