Week seven. She hit the weave entry clean, no stutter, no pop-out — just threaded through like she'd been doing it her whole life. I forgot to breathe. That's when I knew.
— Maren T., handler to Scout (Border Collie)
The dog already knows how to run.
We teach you how to get out of the way.
Agility is a conversation between two bodies moving through space. At Weave, we train handlers first — your footwork, your timing, your breathing — because when you move well, your dog reads you clearly. We work on rubber matting in a timber-framed barn that smells like wood shavings and effort. No shortcuts, no punishment, no dog left behind because someone decided they were "the wrong kind."

Four paths. One barn.
Every class is taught by the same two coaches who've been on this rubber matting for over a decade. Small groups, deliberate feedback, no filler.
Foundation
Start here. No experience needed.
Six-week series covering obstacle introduction, focus work, and the handler movement basics that underpin every advanced skill. Puppies welcome from 12 weeks.
Handling Skills
Your body is the signal.
Footwork, blind crosses, front crosses, and distance work. We drill handler mechanics until the dog stops having to guess — and starts reading you instinctively.
Competition Prep
Chase qualifying times.
Full sequences, course walk strategy, and ring-confidence work. We train to AKC and USDAA standards. Several of our dogs have placed at nationals.
Reactive Dog
"Couldn't do agility" is not a diagnosis.
Designed specifically for dogs with threshold sensitivities. We work at distance, with visual barriers, at times when the barn is quiet. Movement is a powerful tool for focus — we use it.
The dogs are the stars.
Handler-submitted moments from the barn floor. Every run is someone's breakthrough.
"Pip finally stopped popping out at pole six. We cried. Both of us."

"We don't film the handlers. We film the dogs. Because the dog's expression tells you everything you need to know about whether the training is working."

"They said Birch was "too reactive for group classes." That was two nationals ago."
Birch · Shetland Sheepdog

"I came for the dog. I stayed because I became a better handler than I thought I could be."
